Rutgers SPAA offers a series of three course (nine-credit) certificate programs for M.P.A. students and non-degree seeking students. Each certificate provides specialized training for pre-career and in-career students in a variety of policy areas including:

  • Budgeting and Financial Management

  • Healthcare Administration

  • Leadership of Public Organizations

  • Nonprofit Management

Rutgers SPAA has partnered with Rutgers Business School (RBS) and Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR) to allow graduate students to count specific M.P.A. courses toward the following certificates:

  • Public Section Labor Management (SMLR)

  • Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace (SMLR)

  • Social Entrepreneurship (RBS)
